ALKU-tapaaminen ja kotoutumissuunnitelma

ALKU-tapaaminen on MONI-infon tarjoama maksuton ja vapaaehtoinen palvelu, jonka avulla maahan muuttaneelle tehdään kotoutumissuunnitelma. ALKU-tapaaminen ja kotoutumissuunnitelma tehdään yhdessä MONI-infon työntekijöiden kanssa.

Alkutapaaminen

ALKU-tapaaminen on tilaisuus, jossa tutustumme sinuun ja käymme läpi sinun tilanteesi:

• Perhetilanne
• Koulutus
• Työkokemus
• Harrastukset
• Kielitaito ja opiskelutavat
• Omat vahvuudet
• Tulevaisuuden suunnitelmat

Alkutapaamisen jälkeen sinulle tehdään henkilökohtainen kotoutumissuunnitelma, jossa on tietoa kaupungista, alueesta sekä käytännön vinkkejä.

Kotoutumissuunnitelma

ALKU -kotoutumissuunnitelma voidaan tarjota maksutta henkilöille, jotka ovat asuneet Suomessa vähemmän kuin 3 vuotta. Kotoutumissuunnitelma voidaan laatia työntekijöille, tutkinto-opiskelijoille, heidän puolisoilleen tau työn etsijöille. Jos olet rekisteröitynyt TE-palveluiden työttömäksi työnhakijaksi, TE-palvelut tekevät sinulle ALKU-haastattelun ja kotoutumissuunnitelman.

Henkilökohtaisessa kotoutumissuunnitelmassa saat tietoa kaupungista, alueesta ja hyödyllisistä palveluista. Saat myös käytännön vinkkejä ja neuvoja, jotka auttavat sinua kotoutumaan paikalliseen yhteisöön. Kotoutumissuunnitelmassa voi olla tietoa esimerkiksi:

• Suomenkielen kehittämiseen
• Työpaikan löytymiseen
• Harrastusmahdollisuuksiin

MONI-infon kanssa voit hoitaa kaikenlaisia elämän asioita aina silloin, kun tarvitset neuvoa tai ohjausta.

Are you planning your future to be in Finland, in Seinäjoki?
Are you currently living in Seinäjoki or Ilmajoki?
Are you looking for more information about your living environment, your work or study possibilities, hobbies or new contacts?
Do you want to learn the Finnish language?
Would you like to make better use of your skills, experience or training?
Do you want to improve your employment opportunities?
Do you want to discuss your and your family’s situation?
Would you like to start your own business?

If you answered yes to one of these questions, an ALKU Meeting would be good for you. These and other questions can be discussed at ALKU an meeting confidentially.

The ALKU meeting and Integration Plan are offered to you by MONI-info, City of Seinäjoki and are made in co-operation with selected professionals: Jiuliano Prisada, Mark Wiltshear and Paul Fairchild. The first meeting is discussion with one or more of the team. The second meeting is always a meeting with MONI-info, you and the person who you met as an interviewer.

The services and events of MONI-info are confidential, free of charge and open to immigrants in Seinäjoki and Southern Ostrobothnia, as well as immigrants who want to move to Seinäjoki and for other interested people.

●  MONI-Info’s ALKU Meeting service is a voluntary, free service which will provide you with a personal integration plan. We meet with you to understand your situation and what you need to find your place in Seinäjoki.
● The ALKU Meeting is confidential and free of charge to eligible persons: immigrants who have lived in Finland less than three years and who are not registered at the employment office (TE–toimisto).
● We will meet you two times: discussion / interview and report meetings
● At the end, you will receive a checklist of suggestions which will help you integrate into your new, local community
●  You will become a registered customer of MONI-info

An ALKU Integration Plan can officially be offered free of charge to eligible persons, that is immigrants that live in Finland: employees, graduate students, spouses and job seekers, who have lived in Finland less than three years and who are not registered at the employment office (TE–toimisto). An ALKU meeting can also be offered to those customers who have had this kind of integration conversation earlier but have a need to have this service at this point.

Our program starts with a meeting so we can get to know you as an individual. This enables us to understand each person’s:

Family background
Education
Work experience
Hobbies
Finnish language skills and preferred learning methods
Personal strengths
Future plans or aspirations

Based on this, we create a personal Integration Plan for you, giving you information about the local area, suggesting interesting activities and useful services. We also give you a checklist of suggestions which will help you integrate into the local community, including:

Improving your Finnish language skills
Finding work
Finding hobbies
Making new social contacts

With MONI-info you can deal with any type of issues related to living in this area whenever you need assistance or guidance.
