Support for growth
Early childhood education in Seinäjoki uses three levels of support: general support, enhanced support and special support. The goal is to prevent the need for support and detect them as early as possible.
The early childhood special education teacher assesses the child’s support needs and forms of support together with guardians, early childhood education staff and multidisciplinary experts. Together with early childhood educators, the special education teacher plans learning environments to meet the needs of the support.
Support is organized in the child’s own early childhood education unit as part of daily activities.
