Family day care

Family day care is an early childhood education service which takes place at the family day caregiver’s home, at the home of the child or as three-family day care.

The group of children at a family day care may have up to four under school age children, including the caregiver’s own under school age children, as well as one child attending pre-primary or primary education.

Family day care adheres to the early childhood education plan of the city of Seinäjoki. An early childhood education plan is prepared for each child. It provides a tool for the family day caregiver and functions as a plan of action. Seinäjoki also has private family day caregivers.
