Keski-Nurmo School
Keski-Nurmo School was completed in the autumn of 2009, merging two village schools and school districts. We are a suitably sized, modern village school where everyone knows each other.
We have about 120 pupils in grades 1-6 of basic education as well as special education classes. We build on tradition with modern tools. All the classes have their own classroom, but we also actively utilise the school’s other facilities and the surrounding area for studying. We collaborate across class boundaries.
Keski-Nurmo daycare centre also operates in the same facilities as Keski-Nurmo School. This is a safe place for people of all ages to grow and learn. The Keski-Nurmo Combo Library of the City of Seinäjoki is located in the same building as Keski-Nurmo School. The library’s largest customer group consists of the school’s pupils as well as the children and adults of the daycare centre. The Keski-Nurmo School environment also provides good opportunities for outdoor activities and physical activity both during the school day and in free time.
