Targeted youth work

The purpose of Seinäjoki Youth Services’ targeted youth work is to reach young people who are in need of support and to help them find the assistance and support they require. Work is initiated by the young person’s own initiative, by contact from parents, or by various educational institutions or authorities. Targeted youth work is organized leisure-time activity for young people with educational and development-related objectives.

Forms of targeted youth work include, for example, individual and small-group activities. Targeted youth work in the City of Seinäjoki’s youth services is carried out by special youth workers and outreach youth workers.
