Band rooms

NOTE! Due to renovations at Kasperitalo, there are currently no band rooms available for rent!

Youth services rent band rooms to beginner youth bands. Bands have the opportunity to perform at events organized by youth services.

Band rooms are as follows:
Kasperi youth centre (Tapiolantie 20, 60150 Seinäjoki)
– 4 band rooms

The rent for a band room is €35/month. Rental agreements are made semi-annually (January–June and July–December) and rent is invoiced separately in June and December.

NOTE! Other bands may be placed in the same band room. Instruments are not provided in the band rooms. Youth services is not responsible for personal property left in the band rooms.

RULES

Band:

  • Follow agreed playing times. Practice in the band room must end by 22:00.
  • Ensure all used doors are closed, including any back locks.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of the band room; the space must be kept in proper condition.
  • Ensure that no outsiders hang around in the band room.
  • Ensure that others’ instruments are not used without permission.
  • Ensure that no substances are stored or used in the premises or its surroundings.
  • Ensure that keys are not handed over to outsiders and that they are returned to a youth services representative when activities end.
  • Are responsible for insuring their equipment. The city does not have insurance for damage to movable property.

Youth services:

  • Are responsible for the general condition of the premises.
  • Will negotiate with the band if other users are placed in the space.
  • Will inform about possible rent increases before the next rental period.
