Building Inspectorate
The Buildings Inspectorate is an official body with the purpose of promoting, guiding, and supervising the creation and maintenance of a high-quality built environment, the city’s building stock, and a good cityscape, as well as ensuring that public interests are taken into account. The Building Inspectorate establishes the permit requirements for construction projects and handles the issuing of construction-related permits and, e.g. landscaping permits.
You can apply for a building permit electronically using the ePermit tool, which currently works best with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. ePermit
However, one set of backed and bound paper plans must still be submitted to the building inspectorate.
The Buildings Inspectorate is located at the Service Point Alvari and is open Mon to Fri, 9 am to 3pm.
