Terrace guidelines

On public areas owned by the City of Seinäjoki, cafes and restaurants may use the area in front of their premises for outdoor serving. Between April 1st and September 30th summer terraces implemented in compliance with the terrace guidelines do not require a separate permit for land use from the city, and no fee is charged.

Year-round terraces and terraces that deviate from the guidelines are subject to a fee and require an agreement with the city. In addition, during the winter season, lightweight structures and terraces set up for events in accordance with the guidelines are permitted free of charge.
