Cultural Companion

In Seinäjoki, you can get a Cultural Companion by contacting the volunteer coordinator at Järjestötalo. With a Cultural Companion, you can participate in open cultural activities organized by the city, visit concerts or the theater, and go on museum tours. Cultural Companions can attend events free of charge with you.

Cultural activities can also be enjoyed at home, where companions can for example explore remote cultural content or play board games. The Cultural Companion program is run by the Seinäjoki Community Center.

The Cultural Services of the City of Seinäjoki coordinates the cooperation between the cultural institutions and organizations offering cultural activities. Current Cultural Companion partnerts include the Kulttuurikollektiivi Silta, Seinäjoki City Theater, Seinäjoki City Orchestra, Seinäjoki Museums, Rytmikorjaamo, and Kunsthalle Seinäjoki.
