Job Search Clinic

TyöLakeus offers its clients a service called the Job Search Clinic on Thursdays. During the session, an expert can assist you, for example, with preparing a CV, writing a job application, and provide tips for job searching. The service is free of charge.

Wage subsidy

Wage subsidy is financial support that TyöLakeus may grant, at its discretion, to an organisation to cover the wage costs of an unemployed jobseeker. The subsidy is paid to the employer, while the employee receives a normal salary for their work. Your personal coach will advise and support you in finding a wage‑subsidised job.

Work trial

A work trial allows you to gain experience of working life in Finland. During a work trial, you are not paid a salary, but you are entitled to unemployment benefits and an expense allowance. A work trial is a good opportunity to use Finnish in a workplace.
You can also look for a work trial placement yourself. Please inform your personal coach if you are interested in participating in a work trial.
