TyöLakeus

In Seinäjoki, unemployed jobseekers are served by the TyöLakeus Employment Services. If you are unemployed, working part‑time, or interested in entrepreneurship, you can register as a jobseeker.
If you want to apply for unemployment benefits from Kela or an unemployment fund, you must register as a jobseeker.

The TyöLakeus immigrant team provides services for people with foreign-language backgrounds and has special expertise in issues related to immigrants. Interpreting services are available.
Cooperation is carried out, for example, with MONI‑info and the city’s refugee services.

Registration

You can register as a job seeker if you have a valid residence permit in Finland, your right of residence has been registered, or you have a residence card.

EU/EEA citizens can register as job seekers in the Oma asiointi service.

Citizens of other countries should register at the TyöLakeus reception services. Please bring your passport or another photo ID, as well as your residence permit card.

TyöLakeus reception services

At the TyöLakeus reception you can register as a job seeker. You can also submit written requests for clarification at the reception.

The reception services can receive a request to be contacted by a personal coach.
