What do you do? How many people do you have working for you?
Kotico Oy is an independent social and health care service provider and a national operator, with units located in five different wellbeing regions. We employ a total of approximately 140 professionals. Kotico provides high-quality foster care services, family rehabilitation, outpatient services and communal living. Kotico was born from a dream to build a 100% Finnish company that offers services purely from the customer’s perspective. The owners are professionals in the social and health care sector.
What kinds of roles/tasks do you have?
At Kotico people work in, among others, instructor, special instructor, family instructor and psychotherapist positions. Those who have worked as instructors and special instructors have studied, for example, to become youth and leisure instructors, occupational therapists, practical nurses, social services bachelors (sosionomi), social educators, nurses, community pedagogues, etc. Other staff groups working with us include supervisors (i.e., unit managers and regional managers) as well as administration and support services.
How many new professionals do you hire annually/in the coming years?
We are a growth company and hire dozens of new professionals each year across Finland.
