Substitutes
The City of Seinäjoki also offers short-term substitute positions and so-called gig work. Substitutes are available in, for example, day care centers, schools, as well as food and cleaning services. We recruit qualified professionals from various fields for substitute positions as well as students training for the field for tasks matching their skills.

Food and cleaning services
We are looking for energetic, customer-service oriented and cooperative kitchen workers and institutional cleaners for substitute positions of varying lengths.
The food and cleaning service locations are in Seinäjoki city center, Ylistaro, Nurmo and Peräseinäjoki. The qualification requirement for kitchen work is at least a basic vocational qualification in food services or equivalent training. However, we also consider students and persons with relevant work experience when filling substitute needs. A food hygiene passport is required.
For cleaning work, we prefer training or work experience in the field. Having your own car is considered an advantage.

Early childhood education
In our early childhood education services there are substitute positions of various lengths for early childhood education teachers and special education teachers, childcare workers, day care custodians and assistants. For substitute positions we primarily hire professionals who meet the qualification requirements of the field as well as students studying for the field. It is important that you can work as part of a team and also independently with children.
