The former Östermyra ironworks and manor area in Törnävä is a unique center of old Seinäjoki. The history of the manor area stretches back about two hundred years to the last days of Swedish rule. Törnävä Manor is another of the noble manors located in South Ostrobothnia, and the Wasastjerna noble family that lived there has had a significant impact on the creation and development of the Seinäjoki area in various phases. Today, the manor primarily functions as a representative space and banquet hall for the city. In the summer of 2024, the premises will house a manor café, where various cultural performances and guided tours will be held. We are collecting feedback from customers and visitors about visitor experiences. Based on the feedback received, the city will consider the continuation of the café operations and the development of the use of the premises in the autumn. Participate in the development of the manor and shaping its future!
