What do you do? How many people do you have working for you?

Finn-Power Oy is an industrial company specializing in sheet metal working machines and manufacturing systems, with its main office in Seinäjoki. Around 400 of us Finn-Power employees work in Finland.

We are part of the international Prima Industrie group. The brand of our products and services is Prima Power, known as one of the world’s leading brands specializing in sheet metal working machines and systems. Our product range is one of the broadest in the sector, covering laser cutting, punching, angle cutting and bending at all levels of automation from machine tools to flexible manufacturing systems. We serve customers around the world in over 80 countries, and over 90% of the machines and equipment manufactured at the Seinäjoki factory are exported abroad.

What kinds of roles/tasks do you have?

About half of our personnel work in production as well as in maintenance and installation tasks, and half in various office roles. Our company has a wide range of tasks, from product design to commissioning and maintenance.

How many new professionals do you hire annually/in the coming years?

We hire as needed and needs vary. On an annual basis, on average about ten people. In addition, we offer internships and summer jobs to young people every year and work closely with local educational institutions.
