Mathilda’s Little Salon Rental
The city will continue to rent out Mathilda’s little salon at Törnävä Manor this summer. The previously unused storage room has been renovated to reflect the spirit of the 19th century. The space has the original floor, which has been lifted out from under the plastic carpet and renovated. Read the history told by the floorboards!
A small salon can be reserved for use for a separate fee/rent Manor Café opening hours in July-August 4.7 – 15.8.2025. The small salon cannot be booked outside the opening hours of the manor café. The café is open on Fridays and Saturdays in July and August. The last day of opening is Friday 15.8, the weekend after that is Östermyra weekend, when the small salon cannot be rented.
The small salon is suitable for groups of about 10-15 people. You can also order café services separately for the room, which are provided by KakkuKeidas Oy, a partner of the city’s manor café. Bringing your own refreshments and food into the space is prohibited.
The small salon can be rented for €70/first hour and €50/subsequent hours. Prices include 25.5% VAT.
How do I reserve a small salon and pay the reservation fee?
Reservations for the summer season 2025 are made by email.
Making a reservation for the summer season 2025
- The small salon cannot be booked outside the manor café’s opening hours.
- Send a reservation request by email to anita.stenfors@seinajoki.fi. Write the following text in the subject line of the email: Reservation request for renting Pikku Salongi, date + own name
- Please state in your message the date and time of your booking. For invoicing purposes, you must include the full name, address, telephone number and SOTU ID of the person making the booking in your message. You will receive an invoice by paper mail and a copy to your email. If you do not have an email address, you can make a booking by calling +358 40 7748 488.
- The reservation fee must be paid before the reservation date.
- The entrance to the small salon is through the manor café. The key can be obtained from the café staff upon showing a payment receipt. The reservation fee cannot be paid to the manor café owner.
