How is life in Seinäjoki? Answer the city’s well-being survey

The City of Seinäjoki invites all residents aged 18 and over to take part in a survey designed to gather information about residents’ well-being and the factors that influence it. The responses will be used to support the city’s well-being work and the development of services. The survey is open until 31 October 2026.

The well-being survey maps, for example, residents’ experiences of health, quality of life, safety, participation, equality, hobbies, and the living environment. In addition, the survey investigates what residents think would strengthen well-being in Seinäjoki.

The goal is to hear a variety of voices

The aim of the well-being survey is to hear perspectives as diversely as possible from different residents of Seinäjoki. The city hopes for responses from residents living in different parts of the city and in different life situations.

– We are not aiming for the largest possible number of respondents; our goal is to bring out a diverse range of voices from different residents of Seinäjoki. We hope for responses, for example, from young adults, families with children, working-age people, immigrants, older residents, and people from different backgrounds, says well-being manager Henna Rantasaari.

Each response is important, as well-being is built from different things for different people. The better the different perspectives are brought out, the better the city can take residents’ needs into account in service planning and the development of residential areas.

Respond to the survey by 31 October 2026

The well-being survey is intended for all Seinäjoki residents aged 18 and over. The survey can be answered in Finnish or English. Completing it takes about 15 minutes. Responses are handled confidentially, and individual respondents cannot be identified from the results.

Participants can optionally enter a raffle to win one of ten grocery store gift cards worth 50 euros each.
