ARMAS Festival
ARMAS festival is a nationwide arts and culture festival that celebrates aging. The ARMAS festival consists of various events, exhibitions, performances and other cultural programming. The next ARMAS festival is 17–31 March 2026.
The ARMAS festival contains arts and cultural content organized by different organizations. In addition to events open to the public, ARMAS visits the group activities of the virtual cultural club. The overall program is coordinated by the Cultural Services of the City of Seinäjoki.

The Great Wrath – an era of terror 300 years ago

Author Anneli Kanto has written the libretto for Ilmajoki Music Festival’s opera Isoviha 1713–1721. Kanto talks about the Great Wrath and writing an opera libretto in the Jaaksi Hall of Seinäjoki Main Library. Doors open at 17:15 and space is available for the first 90 attendees.

Fly My Song Fly – concert

The Fly My Song Fly communal singing concert is part of Seinäjoki schools’ cultural education plan (the Culture Trip), gathering 3rd-graders from all Seinäjoki primary schools to sing together. The event includes nearly 800 singers. They are accompanied by orchestras made up of students from the Etelä-Pohjanmaa Music Institute: First Wind Band, String Ensemble, Tulikipuna and the Teachers’ Band.

K65 Creative movement and the joy of circus

Welcome to move creatively! The course introduces different circus props, balance exercises and offers fun in a relaxed atmosphere. Feel-good exercises develop, among other things, balance, movement and expressiveness. No prior circus experience is needed. The group, aimed at those over 65, meets a total of 7 times.
