Facility Services

The mission of the profit area of Facility Services is to create and secure, through the development and maintenance of facility services, cosy, well-functioning and appropriate facilities for the City inhabitants, within the limits of the financial resources allocated by the City Council.
The Head of the profit centre is City Architect Juhani Lahti, and there are some 180 people working for the profit centre.

The profit centres of the profit area of Facility Services are:

• maintenance and building
• facility management
• cleaning

Planning:
The mission of the profit centre of Planning is to take care of the planning of the City facilities and of the immovable equipment related to them.

Facility management:
The mission of the profit centre of Facility management is to take care of the management and maintenance of the City facilities as well as of the insurance of the buildings.
