Art Exhibition Space
Seinäjoki Art Hall is situated near the centre of Seinäjoki, on a basement floor without windows. The art exhibition space amounts to 645 m2, and is divided with separating walls into four rooms. Room 1 is about 300 m2 wide and rooms 2 to 4 about 100 m2. The studio, of 168 m2, may be used as a separate exhibition space. The height of the rooms is about 2.80 m in other places than the entrance hall and the café, the height of which is 2.40 m. Because there are ventilation pipes located under the ceiling, the room height is lower in some places. Daylight lamps are used for general lightning.
The inauguration of the first exhibition in Seinäjoki Art Hall was celebrated on 4 October 1980, and after that there have been group, solo and annual exhibitions in the art hall.
Welcome to visit our changing exhibitions of modern art and the Artotheque of the Seinäjoki Artists' Association.
