The diverse and broad Museum of South Ostrobothnia has its centre located in the beautiful Törnävä museum area roughly three kilometres from the centre of Seinäjoki. The museum area is surrounded by the park area of the old Östermyra iron works, and the Seinäjoki river flows nearby. This area is a popular place for events and recreational activities.

Civil Guard and Lotta Museum, which is a part of the Seinäjoki City museums, is located in the city centre, and Riihimuseo, the drying-barn museum, can be found in Peräseinäjoki, about 30 kilometres from the city centre.

The Seinäjoki City Museums includes the cultural heritage of the area and organises exhibitions, museum education, research and workshop activities. In addition, the museum offers expert assistance in matters related to its field and support in building renovations.

Wednesday 12pm–6pm, Thursday, Friday and Sunday 12pm–4pm

Adults: 6 euros
Children 8–18 years old: 4 euros
Students, pensioners and unemployed: 4 euros
June 1st to August 31st
Wednesday 10am–7pm, Thursday–Sunday 10am–5pm
Group tickets (at least 10 persons)
Adults: 4 euros, children 8–18 years old: 2 euro
Students, pensioners and unemployed: 2 euro

At other times upon agreement

Combined discount ticket to the museums; to be used within three days from purchase
Adults: 10 euros
Children: 6 euros
Pensioners and unemployed: 6 euros
